Deborah is the President of the Institute of Housing Management and volunteer Instructor for the IHM Distance Learning Program. Deborah has worked and volunteered in the non-profit housing sector for over twenty-four years. In her current role as Manager of Municipal Housing, she is responsible for the administration of all aspects of the property management service delivery for The Corporation of the City of Brantford and the County of Brant. As a part-time Humber College Instructor of the Property and Building Administration course, she is committed to excellence in property management education. As a member of the Ontario College of Social Work and Past President of the Housing Help Centre (Hamilton), she is aware of the emerging issues and trends of homelessness and the need for affordable housing. Deborah was recently elected to the Board of Directors of The Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association and is a strong advocate for resident and community initiatives.
