Responsibilities & Industry Experience
Administer SHRRP for 27 providers; including REI; perform operational reviews; provide direction for technical projects and legislative requirements; administration of Building Condition Assessments and work with the providers to develop their annual capital budgets. I was a Property Management Assistant and finance clerk with OHC; provided full service wait list management with the Housing Access Network.

IHM Involvement
I have been accredited since the summer of 2009 and have proctored for the education program for about a year. I have attended the conference for about four or five years and have enjoyed to opportunity to learn new ideas and network with other people in the sector.

Opportunities for IHM
Participate and develop a strategy for succession planning; participation in development of short and long term capital reserve strategies for declining reserves; continue to develop and share best practices for maintenance; tenders; participate in working groups to deal with changing legislation- AODA; develop energy efficiency strategies to help decrease the increasing utility costs.

Other Important Information
Involved with the Regional Capital Reserve working group to develop short and long term capital reserve strategies; Participate in the Joint Health and Safety Committee for the Municipally owned communities.
